I painted this right on the beach in Cape Henlopen Park in Delaware. It was the perfect day for painting with a nice breeze coming off the ocean. I discovered I really like painting on masonite. It has no "give" like stretched canvas and I can get more detailed without competing with the texture that canvas has.
