Seed Pod Daydreams
This is my second entry for the Art Brownie Magic 2015 Exhibit in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It's acrylic paint on a 2 1/4"x 2 1/2"x 1 3/8" wooden block. It's inspired by a visit to the New York Botanical Gardens. These seed pods struck me as being so surreal the way they stretched high above the waterlilies as if they were reaching for the dreamy clouds above.
Summer Night Lights
This is one of my entries for the Art Brownie Magic 2015 Exhibit in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It's acrylic on a 2 1/4"x 2 1/2"x 1 3/8" wooden block. There's nothing more magical than lightning bugs on a summer night during a full moon.
Winter Is For The Birds
This is a 9"x12" acrylic painting on Masonite board completed in February 2015. I had to do some inventing here, merging several photos together. Funny how some subjects keep re-introducing themselves, for me it's windows. I love the juxtaposition of the warm, safe interior to the cold, wild exterior representing nature (or man versus nature). This includes a portrait of my pet cockatiel, Momo.
House on Huff's Church Road
House on Huff's Church Road was completed in 2013. Sorry I'm a bit late posting the finished painting. This was a challenging painting for me with all the flowing lines.

Huffs Church Road House
The sky is the first thing to be painted in. Sorry I had to crop it to reduce the glare. The sky is not finished yet. It still needs some touching up. But I'm loving the color. I mixed a little phthalo blue in it to get it to brighten up.
New Painting in the Works
So excited to be working larger. This is a sheet of Masonite 24x30. I primed it first with gray gesso and then drew it out using white charcoal pencil.

Green Lane Water
Inspired by a trip to the Green Lane Reservoir near my home. I just love the rippling of the water and the transparency to the rough textured ground beneath the water. I'm showing this one in the Schuylkill River Heritage Area Art Show at Montgomery County Community College, Pottstown, PA. Acrylic on board, 12"x9".
